One of my early stories. A mother struggling with anger-management issues finds that her impressionable daughter’s Christmas gift brings dire consequences.
What began as a simple exercise writing the opening scene, turned into my first complete story. I had a blast writing it, and later submitted it to the Writer’s of the Future Contest, where it received honorable mention.
